Introducing Employers to Part-Time and Flexible Working
Women Like Us are currently supporting employers to fit part-time recruitment into their business success, with a free training offer for enterprises within the London boroughs of Haringey and Westminster.
This free training package offers one-to-one and group training modules to employers, focusing on:
• An audit of current flexible working practices
• Discussion of current staffing / flexibility issues faced by the business
• Strategies for moving forward
• Agreed action plan and timescales
This is followed by up to an hour’s phone based support if required. Employers also receive an effective tool kit and an extensive Guide to Flexible Job Design.
In addition, Women Like Us will be running 2 hour workshops to introduce business owners to the process of creating and managing a part-time or flexible job.
All the training and consultancy explores how talented staff can be recruited and retained by offering some flexibility in hours. It is also focused on using flexible working as an alternative to redundancies and a tool to manage staffing costs in the current economic climate.
