Steph Cutler will be sharing her inspirational journey from her career as a fashion designer, through losing her sight and becoming the entrepreneur she is today. Like all successful entrepreneurs Steph faced many obstacles along the way but her determination to succeed enabled her to achieve her aspirations. Steph will explain how she tackled these obstacles head on and overcome set backs in setting up and running a business based on her own experiences.

Steph has a commercial background in design, marketing, buying and sales for the highly competitive fashion industry and worked for companies such as Ted Baker and suppliers to Marks and Spencer.

In 2003 she experienced unexpected sight loss. This led her to set up her disability equality consultancy Open Eyed to support organisations in making their products and services accessible to all. Her second business, Making Lemonade, was subsequently formed and specialises in delivering personal coaching, inspirational speeches and motivational workshops on leadership, employment and business support.

As an innovative entrepreneur, trainer, writer and role model  Steph and her businesses have won national recognition in numerous high profile business awards including national finalist in Enterprising Young Brit 2006. She is also a national Ambassador for Women's Enterprise.
